Adoption Counselor

Do you love cats and want to play an important role in helping them find a loving family and furever home?

All 4 Cats is looking for Adoption Counselors to work one weekend day, twice a month talking with the public and adopting out our cats and kittens. On the job training is provided by a Senior Counselor and you will be working with another volunteer at all times. Adoption events usually take place on Saturdays. Each shift is 4.5 hours. We are looking for friendly and responsible people who enjoy working with cats and other volunteers. Teamwork gets the job done!

Event Set-up/Take-Down

Do you love cats and kittens and want to help them find loving forever homes, but have limited available time to do so?

Crew is needed once a week, either Saturday morning for set-up or Saturday afternoon for take-down at the adoption events held @ Pet Supplies Plus 134 Hays Ln, Wilmington, NC 28411

This takes minimal time and allows you to make a HUGE contribution to animal rescue. This would be a great opportunity for a parent and teenager (14+)

Set-up: Sat. 10:15 - 11:00 am
Take-Down: Sat. 2:45 - 3:30pm

Requirements:

  • Lead person must be 18
  • Must have a driver's license and car
  • Able to lift 30 lbs, bend, and stoop

Social Media Content

Do you love Facebook, Instagram, and/or TikTok? We have a presence on each and we need content creators. You can go to foster houses and take pics and video to edit and post. You can research different feline topis (health, social, fun facts, etc) to create content about. All content goes through a Board Member for approval but there is a lot of creative freedom. This would be something ideal for 16+ with random free time and not a set schedule.

Other Listed Opportunities

  • Fundraising: we need ideas and coordinators
  • Communications: answering emails, responding to texts, responding to direct messages. We have guidance for most responses.
  • Data Entry: We enter all of our cat information into a database. We can always use help with this.
  • Website Content: We know the basics and use the "editor". If this is your passion we would love to upgrade our look.
  • Cleaning/Organizing: There is always something to clean. Foster homes would really appreciate the occasional help to deep clean cat rooms and equipment. Our supply coordinator would love help keeping everything organized.
