meet the team

Our team and volunteers are as unique and diverse as the kittens and cats that we work so hard to provide furever homes and families for.

Each one brings their unique experience, talent and love of animals to our team. We work together volunteering our time, energy and hearts to provide second chances for the cats and kittens in our community who need us the most!

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE AND A CAT!

meet our all 4 cats management team!

OUR ALL 4 CATS TEAM MEMBERS:

Justin Mills

Justin Mills

Justin is the President and co-founder.

He manages All 4 Cats’ crowdfunding campaigns.  He is also a senior adoption counselor, fosters, and coordinates rescues.

Justin’s affinity for cats started 20 years ago when he rescued a one-eyed street cat named Uno. Justin’s life was completely changed by Uno. He now lives with his 7 cats and also fosters for the rescue. Justin is an Underwriter by day and in his spare time he enjoys vegan cooking and playing pool.

Kim Mailhot

Kim Mailhot

Kim is the medical coordinator and is in charge of intake evaluations. She serves on the board, in addition to fostering and trapping. She has been with the rescue since 2019. She is “super mom” to 5 human children and 4 furry feline children.  In her spare time you can find her on the softball and baseball fields with her youngest, who happen to be twins!

Dr. Deb Donovan

Dr. Deb is our vet of record.

She develops treatment protocols for our medical cases and advises on our standards of care. We could not do all of the wonderful things for community cats without her. She has been volunteering with us since 2018.

She loves musical themed cruises and other concert events. She has 9 furry children and a wonderful husband at home

Rita Glanz

Rita Glanz

Rita is our behavioral specialist and one of the group’s most valued foster homes.

Rita is a Jacksonville native and dental hygienist that started rescuing animals simply “Because it’s the right thing to do.” She has been with the rescue since 2014.

For Rita, rescuing is actually the easy part, as she spends countless hours socializing wayward cats and kittens to prepare them for a loving life with human companionship. This requires a tremendous amount of time and patience, but Rita finds it extremely rewarding. She has helped countless cats get a second chance at the good life.

Cris Ontiveros

Cris does a little of everything.

She runs parasite checks, fosters, rescues, and give medical care. She joined the rescue in 2018.

After Hurricane Florence her and Esmeralda helped rescue 33 cats that had evacuated from Topsail.

She is currently attending UNCW for her Bachelors in Biology. She will continue her studies at NC State in Veterinary Medicine.

Harriet Rickert

Harriet Rickert

Harriet is our volunteer coordinator and helps organize some of our fundraisers, such as kitten yoga!

She joined the rescue in 2019 as a foster and adoption counselor.

Harriet was born and raised in England, but has called North Carolina home since 2016.

She is an elementary school teacher and a fur mom to 4 cats and 4 dogs!

Silja Sandahl

Silja Sandahl

Silja is our event coordinator.

Silja adopted two cats from All 4 Cats and became inspired to volunteer because of how great they are!

She started as an adoption counselor in 2023 and now also coordinates our Saturday adoption events.

Silja is originally from Germany and moved to the US in 2017. She is an avid reader in her spare time.

Emily Ward

Emily is our treasurer.

She also takes some of the fantastic photos you see of the cats on our Facebook page as well as our internet adoption sites and website.

With 17 years of accounting experience she is also perfectly suited to handle all of the financial details for All 4 Cats.

Emily received a degree in business from UNCW. A stint in culinary school developed a passion for cooking in addition to her love of photography. She has 2 rescue cats and has lived with cats all her life.

Kerrin Mailhot

Kerrin Mailhot

Kerrin is in charge of social media and fundraising.

She helps build and maintain donor relations. In addition to this, Kerrin uses her counseling skills to help ensure our fosters are not taking on too much too fast, and helps counsel positive fostering habits to ensure we retain fosters long term and prevent burnout.

Kerrin recently graduated from UNCW with a Masters in Clinical Social Work. In her free time she coaches youth softball and plays video games.
